Ride from Esk to Toogoolawah for a special sunset reception on the terrace of 'The Condensery - The Somerset Regional Art Gallery' in Toogoolawah, View the amazing Bimblebox Art - Science - Nature exhibition. Enjoy canapes prepared by the volunteers of the Toogoolawah Heritage Museum as a fund raiser for their excellent work and the opportunity to sample the unique Railtrail Champagne Cocktail ($6 per glass or $5 for mocktail version).
Cycle back by the light of a nearly full moon, cloud cover permitting (good lights mandatory), pausing at the Coal Creek shelter for a spot of star gazing.
Back in Esk by 8.00 pm for a gorgeous, private function buffet dinner ($35) at the famous Nash Cafe which will be open exclusively for us (BYO).
Meet in Lars Andersen Place near Pipeliner Park in Esk at 3.30 pm (Plenty of parking with overflow in Highland St). Depart for Toogoolawah at 4.00 pm.
Non-cycling partners and friends welcome to join us for the dinner.
Plenty of accommodation available in Esk for anyone that wants to make a week-end of it - Esk Caravan Park has cabins in addition to camping and caravanning and there are 3 motels and the newly refurbished Grand Hotel Pub offers good cheap pub accomodation.
Event cost: $20 (including $10 for canapes), but not including drinks.
$35 for the optional dinner at Nash Cafe.
